Christie OverHead Door is a 70 year old family business located on the south shore of Staten Island. Our business is growing and we are currently seeking employees for the following positions to compliment our team.


Christie Overhead Doors is seeking experienced Garage Door Technicians and Trainee’s. Primary work on Commercial and residential Garage Doors and Gates in Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx and Staten Island. Technicians must have experience in Garage Door operation, installation and repair. Trainee’s must be mechanically inclined. Technician positions do not require you to report to office on a daily basis. This position begins the work day from home with a company provided work vehicle. Trainee’s will report to office daily. Candidates must possess valid Drivers License and working papers, and industry specific hand tools. Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with public, maintain clean and professional appearance at all times. All candidates are subject to drug testing. Both position’s receive an hourly wage, commission, health benefits, paid vacation and holidays, and a company contributing pension. Must be willing to work overtime. This position is for QuickBooks Pro & QuickBooks Enterprise users only. Full time A/R & A/P bookkeeper needed for Christie Overhead Door. Christie is a small office environment with a fast pace. Must have extensive experience with Windows QUICKBOOKS Pro or QUICKBOOKS Enterprise This position is NOT open to NON-QuickBooks and QuickBooks On-Line users Requirements: Solid understanding of all features of QuickBooks. Will handle AR and AP, reconciling bank, credit card accounts. Understanding of Chart of Accounts. Data entry of these accounts along with some vendor and customer account resolution skills. Must be professional, articulate and able to be trusted with confidential information. Enthusiastic worker who is a team player with a positive attitude. Must be a self-starter with attention to detail, flexible and able to work overtime and answer phones if required. At least 5 years’ experience as a bookkeeper. Christie Overhead Door is interviewing for Mid-Level + Customer Service and general Office full-time Position. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years office experience answering phones, scheduling appointments, creating word documents, data entry, document filing and assisting in day to day tasks. An informal office environment that is very conducive for motivated organized people. Must be an accurate typist, extremely detail oriented. Applicants well versed in Quick Books are favorable.
